Daycare
So Evan has started daycare...it is the most heart-wrenching, guilty feeling I've ever been through! In the past year, I have been away from my baby maybe 15 hours total (yes, in the past year!). Just this week...I was away from Evan 45 hours! 45 hours!
My husband and friends tell me that it will get easier with time (please keep reminding me of this!), but I'm not sure I believe them! I'm sure that I will train myself out of sheer necessity not to think of him all day long in order to do my job, but it will take a while, I'm sure.
On a good note, the daycare is fantastic! On Monday, Chris and I were feeling a little apprehensive, but Evan gave the caretaker a BIG smile! I think it made it even harder to leave since he was being really cute! He should have been crying because we were leaving! However, we think he caught his first cold from some of the kids...he woke up this morning with a small cough and lots of congestion. He is also running a temp of 99.4. Even while almost sick, he is still so happy! We are spoiled!!
Good news, though! Chris and I get 2 ENTIRE days with him!! No interruptions, just the 3 of us enjoying each other. I know that I will look forward to the weekends with much anticipation and excitement!
If you have any advice for making it through this time, please leave a comment and help us out.

Bobo Bunnies
I recently asked my Mom to show me how to make what we call "Bobo Bunnies" so that I could have some for Evan when he gets a "bobo." She showed me how to make them, and I took pictures so that I could share this with all of our friends who might need something cute like this to help with those nasty bobos!
Materials:
washcloths, ribbon, & pompoms in different colors;
scissors & hot glue gun
googly eyes
1. First you lay your washcloth out diagonally
2. Then you roll the corners very tightly until they reach in the middle
3. Fold the washcloth in half so that the edges are even
4. Fold the edges back over itself to form the ears and hold tightly
5. Maneuver the ribbon around where you are holding
the washcloth and tie very tightly
6. Fluff the ears out and make sure they are even
7. Hot glue the eyes, nose, and tail onto the washcloth, and voila! Place a piece of ice inside the opening and put on any bobo to help it feel better. The washcloth absorbs the ice as it melts which keeps it colder longer.
Other bunnies we made:
Enjoy!!!

On a happier note, these picture were taken after Evan's bath yesterday. Isn't he adorable?!
Before
This picture was taken this morning when Evan woke up.
He is such a happy baby, and we are soooo blessed to have him!
We also took Evan to his first Astros baseball game this past Saturday! He had a blast and did really well at the park. He looked so cute in his baseball cap, being carried by Chris in the Snugli! Notice in the later pictures that he's not wearing an Astros outfit...that's because he pooped all over the car seat right as we were parking...But he still had the Astros shoes to wear to the game! We support our 'Stros!
