Only 30 days before we meet the newest addition to our family, Aubrie Carol Gonzales. I can't believe the time has flown by so fast! It seems like we had all of this time when we first find out we were pregnant, and then before we knew it... only 30 days left! We are still getting last minute details ready for her arrival, like buying diapers, picking out a double stroller, picking up a crib from our friend, and setting up everything so that it will flow when she's here.
Today we went to the Woodlands Mall and headed to Build-A-Bear so that we could pick up 2 bears, one for each child. It was so cute to watch Evan pick out his bear and to help us pick out one for his sister. Then we helped stuff each bear, as well as kiss a heart and make a wish to put inside. Evan's bear has a recording of him laughing on it (which is adorable!), and Aubrie's bunny has her heartbeat in it. Chris and I can't wait to give Evan his bear when we are at the hospital so that he doesn't feel left out.
The three of us can't wait to meet Aubrie, and to see what she looks like, and what her personality is like, and to watch her and Evan together. We know it will be crazy when she gets here while we figure out a new schedule and face reality as sleepy parents again, but we are so excited about what the future holds for our family!
